India.- [Photograph Album of Indian Views], c.40 full-page and c.30 half-page photographs, 213 x 296mm. or smaller, pasted onto 28 card leaves, some credited and/or titled and numbered in the negative, one or two with very short tears to edges, few captioned in pencil, few leaves starting to work loose, hinges tender, original cloth, few small stains, rubbed, upper joint split at head, [early 20th century] § [Another Photograph Album of Indian Views], c.27 photographs and few illustrations, 239 x 287mm. or smaller, pasted onto 16 card leaves, some titled and numbered in the negative, few with printed caption pasted beneath, few nicks or very short tears to edges (more extensive tears to one photograph), some faint spotting and occasional soiling, photograph corners clipped, contemporary half morocco, some wear, g.e., [late 19th/early 20th century], spotting and browning to mounts; and another photograph album (?Afghanistan region), v.s. (3)

⁂ The first with views of the temples at Dilwara, ruins and temples at Delhi, Friday prayer at Jama Masjid, the Taj Mahal, railways, and the exterior and interior of a tea factory. Some are credited in the negative to Bourne & Shepherd or H. A. Mirza & Sons. The second includes views of Darjeeling, railways, tea-picking, close-ups of tea plants, snake charmers and others.
