James Bentley) An Historical and Geographical Memoir of the North-American Continent: its Nations and Tribes, first edition, stipple-engraved portrait frontispiece, errata slip, very light marginal damp-staining to a few leaves but still a good copy with wide margins, modern leather-backed boards, uncut and partly unopened, [Sabin 27979], 4to, Dublin, John Jones, 1820.

⁂ Scarce work published posthumously for the benefit of the author's orphan daughters; it contains chapters on Mexico, New Mexico & California, Northwestern America, Greenland & Spitzbergen, Canada, Virginia, and the Bahamas. Only 2 copies listed on COPAC (BL and King's College London); no copy at auction since 1977.
