*** The first Turkish grammar printed in England, by the Arabic scholar and chaplain to the English ambassador in Constantinople. Seaman also printed the first New Testament in Turkish, in 1688; both works were produced with the financial assistance of Robert Boyle, to whom this work is dedicated.
